The Dark Legion

Led by the “Mistress of the Void” Ilian and her apostles, the Dark Legion seeks to corrupt and conquer humanity by channeling the power of the Dark Soul - an unstoppable, invisible cosmic force as old as the universe. Leveraging the reach of their impenetrable Citadels, the apostles spread the contagions of distrust, war, and decay across the last, fractured vestiges of civilization. Victory, it seems, is within their grasp.

In these dark times, everyone from the highest Corporate executives to the lowliest beggars turn to the Brotherhood for hope - and not just for prayer. The Brotherhood’s formidable martial force, the Inquisition, rely on their command of the mysterious power of the Art to vanquish the Dark Legion and deliver humanity’s salvation – no matter the brutality of the methods required.

To citizens of Capitol, space is the place where the American Dream can reach new heights - and profits. Having led mankind in early space exploration, Capitol’s reach now extends from its capital on Mars to the outer bounds of the solar system. This, of course, is only possible thanks to the ruthless devotion Capitolian have in maximizing the profit of their corporation (and the Capitol Military’s devastating effectiveness at “liberating” resources from across the cosmos). Anyone with big dreams can become a Capitolian, but one must remember that nothing is free - especially freedom.

Every Bauhausian knows: time is money. That’s why the noble families of Bauhaus have meticulously optimized every element of their business to maximize both profit and quality – with excellent success. From their highly-trained and expertly-equipped military forces, to the ingenuity and growth of their vast business enterprises, Bauhaus has built a reputation for quickly and effectively dominating any space they enter.

Mishima

Mishimans are renowned for their rigorous adherence to the principles of honor and tradition - and for good reason. Headed by the cunning Overlord and his family, the corporation has upheld their ancient feudal society where all resources stay and flourish in-house. Coupled with the martial prowess of their mechanized fighting force, and their command of a mysterious, meditative protection against the Dark Symmetry, Mishima continues to accomplish feats the other megacorporations could only dream of.

Despite a history marred by folly, the valiant citizens of Imperial have carved out a place in the cosmos thanks to their navigational expertise, cunning espionage, and high-powered weaponry. Led by the fierce Queen, Her Serenity, and Parliament, the armed forces of Imperial stand tall against the forces of darkness and the ambitions of the other megacorporations. But even as the Dark Legion looms, internal conflict between the MacGuire and Murdoch clans threatens to tear the corporation apart at a time when unity is needed most.

Cybertronic is the newest but most technologically advanced megacorporation. By relying on their highly-advanced cyber hunter troops and robotic cavalry, Cybertronic is able to stamp out their enemies with unending vigor. However, their questionable tactics and secretive nature have caused fear and suspicion among the other factions, who believe they may be influenced by the Dark Legion. Despite these doubts, Cybertronic remains steadfast in their mission to defeat the Dark Legion and secure their place as the dominant force in the market.

CREATING MUTANT Chronicles

The Mutant Chronicles franchise began its journey as a tabletop role-playing game released in Sweden in the late 1980s before being released in English in 1993, whereafter it rapidly garnered a fan following. The franchise progressed and expanded over the years, with the release of several supplements and a new edition of the core game. The franchise has expanded to include a miniatures game, a video game, a series of novels, and a movie. In June 2023, a very successful Mutant Chronicles Warzone Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign drew 857 Backers who pledged $163,753 USD.
